Equitable Access to Next Generation Care – Leading the Way Together
Over the last 20 years, I’ve had the privilege of building a community filled with families and patients who chose to trust me with their care alongside an incredible group of providers and administrative support teams – a charge I have not taken lightly. As a parent, I understand with all my heart the instinct to protect your children and the drive to move mountains to ensure they receive the best care. It’s one of the reasons that, as a physician, I am passionate about helping people achieve their best health outcomes and setting them up for success. Approaching care from a whole health perspective, recognizing the connection between mind and body, and doing my best to ensure that over the years, patient families walked away with more than just a bandage or prescription but also empowered with the tools, education, and resources to create healthy change for themselves.
It’s what I want for every child. And it’s why I’m so excited about this next chapter for our Rainbow Pediatric Center family. I have chosen to transition ownership to Pediatrica Health Group because they, like me, are driven by their purpose to provide children and their families with equitable access to quality pediatric care to build a foundation for a lifetime of optimal health and wellness. Pediatrica’s founder, Roberto Palenzuela, has decades of experience reshaping medical organizations to prioritize patient care while maximizing the capacity for providers and teams to give their patients their very best. Roberto’s experience and business acumen, paired with our integrative holistic approach to care and our shared vision to ensure no child is left behind, positions us to make significant changes for the future of pediatric primary care.
First and foremost, I want to assure all families and partners who have put their faith in me and the Rainbow team over the years that your access to the wellness resources and the providers and team you’ve come to trust is not changing. In fact, what this partnership means is that we will bring our model of care to more communities and families across the state and beyond. We will broaden our services, offer greater access to innovative technology, improve resources, and expand our care options – we call this Next Generation CareSM. I am confident this transition will only strengthen the quality of care we provide your family.
In addition to my continued involvement in patient care, I have accepted the role of Chief Medical Officer with Pediatrica, to help steward other providers and care teams to adopt the proven approach to care that we have established together with you. Accessibility is key to fostering healthier communities, and with Pediatrica, we have greater reach to help more people and create systemic change.
